As a child, Anna’s first love was Mr Squiggle. Her second love was Dostoyevsky. But as an adult, her adoration has been directed towards visual language. Over the years, Anna has explored the deep trenches of many creative practices – from photography to lithography to ceramics. She most fondly recalls partnering with Yugul Mangi artists from Arnhem Land to create new work in the screen-printing medium.
Today, Anna funnels her creativity into design. She knows the power of perspective and understands the strength of collaboration, so it’s not uncommon for Anna to bring many minds to a job. She knows that when done well, good design can transcend economies, improve wellbeing, speak up for the environment and impact culture in the most positive of ways.
Anna’s work has seen the likes of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Design Files and Broadsheet. She still loves Dostoyevsky. She even finds herself upside down. And when it comes to fulfilling a brief, you can be sure she’s designing for you, not for herself. She’ll bring all the disciplines to the table, so together, you can find outcomes that are meaningful, inspiring and insightful.
Anna’s knowledge spans many fields. She’s eclectic. This list will go on, but for now, her areas of expertise are:
- Brand strategy
- Brand identity
- Campaign identity
- Art direction
- Photography
- Copywriting
