The Ferment Yourself Wild tour aims to educate people about wild fermentation: how to do it and why it’s so beneficial to individuals, communities and the environment. It also introduces discourse around current dysfunctional food systems that hurt microbial diversity, and it attempts to ignite the rebellious spirit necessary to fuel change.
Ultimately, it seeks to inspire everyone to discover the joy of wild fermentation at home.
The visual identity embodies these ideas. It incorporates impactful typography and a joyous colour palette. The wordmark includes slightly quirky, condensed typography with break-out, bacteria-like letters—hinting at something wild and courageous at heart. Illustrations support the notion that fermentation can generate hope and magic in the hands of every one of us.
